Why?

With a preschooler in the house, I get asked, "Why" a lot. A LOT! 

Today it's my turn...

Why, with all the nice, soft, cozy blankets in the house, 

must we use the area rug to cover up?

And why, with a couch and two other chairs to choose from, 

must we watch TV from the coffee table?

I know the answer. Because.
