Meet Case

I've been gone so long, I almost forgot my password. Or maybe it's just because I've been busy with other things...like this:

Meet Case Bennett:

He was born Aug. 31 at 9:41 a.m. weighing 7 lbs. 5 oz. and measuring 20 inches long.

So the fact I've been AWOL might have a bit to do with learning to wrangle three kiddos :) Life has been crazy...a normal thing with a newborn. But I had so missed doing creative things that I spent some time this past weekend making something I'm dying to share (in addition to our babe)...

My fall wreath!

I used a straw wreath from Walmart and left the plastic wrap on...no extra mess for me, please! I couldn't find my glue gun, so I used fabric spray and wrapped strips of fabric around the wreath. For the flowers, I used a piece of black felt for the backing then wound more fabric strips around the center. Again I used fabric spray. The only sewing I did was to attach the buttons...and for that I simply used a needle and thread. 

Easy peasy...as long as my hubby held the baby!
