Ode to the group
Day 13: He will Supply your needs
"You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus." Philippians 4:19 (The Message)
I have now lived in Hillsboro for 10.5 years, including my time at Tabor. Wow. When reflecting back over those years, I think the biggest need God has met in my life (in addition to my wonderful family, of course), is a group of faith-filled friends.
I became a part of my first Bible study my senior year at Tabor during my first year of marriage. That group has since dispersed over a couple states, but we still are in contact with each other in support and prayer.
That group was a foundation for my life as a wife and mother. I've since been in a couple more Bible studies with various women, and they have all been instrumental in my role as a wife and mother...and also my road to becoming a more-mature Christ-follower.
Thank you God, for providing me with what I need, when I need it!
(Update: as of this afternoon, I am the winner of a 60-minute massage...talk about supplying for my needs! Wow!)
* Tomorrow's promise: Grace - Ephesians 2:8-9
* The inspiration behind this series comes from a list of 25 promises of God from a blog post over at Our Out-of-Sync-Life
