The improbability of Christmas
Day 24: Nothing is Impossible
"For nothing is impossible with God." Luke 1:37 (NLT)
I keep going back to VBS over this promise. There was a song we sang that went "We will fly, we will soar, for nothing is impossible...we will rise through the storm, trusting God and leaving our fears behind...we will fly."
I wonder if Mary had thoughts about rising through the storm and trusting when she asked the angel how it could be so...how could she, an unmarried woman...give birth to a baby?
And the angel told her that NOTHING is impossible with God.
How often I look at something I'm facing and think...wow...this is impossible! When really, I should think...wow...with God, this is POSSIBLE! Amazing.
Let's dwell on the impossibility of Christmas, realizing that through God, it is possible!
