Totally not funny, and yet I laughed

Day 23: Guidance

"The Lord says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life.
    I will advise you and watch over you." Psalm 32:8 (NLT)

It seems like I always need guidance of some sort. Just today, I made a parenting blunder...telling a story about one of my children in front of them. It was a story of disobedience...and while not funny in general, I laughed as I told the story...mostly because of the imagery of the instance, not because of the action.

However, I'm guessing I will pay for it next time my daughter disobeys in the same way...because she thinks I think it's funny. Totally not true...but yet, I laughed.

Oh, how I need guidance.

Every. Single. Day.

And praise the Lord, He promises to provide it! 

May I look to the Lord before saying/doing more silly things.
